Sydney Organic Expo & Green Show Giveaway

Category : , ,

I was lucky enough to score tickets to last year's show in Melbourne, and this year it is been held up in Sydney.
Thanks to Polkadot PR, I'm happy to offer 2 double passes to two lucky Sydneyside readers for them to go and enjoy themselves.

There’s something for everyone at this year’s event at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour with delicious food tastings prepared by celebrity chefs, the latest advances in all-natural beauty treatments, gardening tips and organic wine to try.

This year’s Organic Expo & Green Show theme is ‘Paddock to Plate’ and offers the chance for Sydneysiders and visitors to catch cooking demonstrations by renowned celebrity chefs such as Kylie Kwong and Tobie Puttock as they show how to feed the family without blowing the budget by choosing food that is fresh, in season and produced with care.

Indulge all your senses as you wander through displays across seven natural living categories: Food and Beverage / Wine / Mother, Baby, Kids / Building, House and Garden / Health, Personal Care and Beauty / Professional Services / Fashion and Manchester.

With 180 exhibitors showcasing what’s fresh and best from the organic and green industry, there are attractions for all nature lovers this year:

For kids: The Organic Kids’ Fun Zone is back with baby farmyard animals to pet, veggies to plant and creepy crawlies from the garden to learn about. The ‘Dig Your Dinner’ school competition entrants will also be proudly displayed at the show.

For foodies: Celebrity chefs Kylie Kwong, Tobie Puttock, Simon Lawson, Samantha Gowing and Teresea Cutter will be at the demonstration stage cooking mouth-watering feasts and showing how easy it is to eat organically every day.

For green thumbs: Gardening gurus Jerry Coleby-Williams and Costa Georgiadis will be on hand to ensure your garden is greener and tastier than ever.

For beauty buffs: Sample luxurious pampering treatments and shop up an organic storm while beauty expert Carla Oates reveals how to custom-blend your own skincare products from ingredients in your fridge.

For wine lovers: Don’t miss tastings on offer at The Organic Vineyard.

For home makers: There’s a huge selection of sustainable homewares, building and garden products to deck your house out like a green oasis.

Looks like a lot of fun, i think my parents would love to go to something like this

I want to go because I want to see my twin sister Kylie to cook her grandma recipes.

Oh, I haven't heard about this, but it looks great!

Really good to see a foodie event that focus on more than just the food. The whole industry of farming, food miles and healthy eating all wrapped up in a delicious bundle. Looks like a great event :)

Hahaha, good old professor!

I love the theme of the expo - would love to go!

This isn't an entry as I'm going to this but I remember your story from last year and that's why I want to go to this years! :)

keen like a jelly bean to hit up this foodie fest!

Looks like a great event to go with my foodie friend who's keen to start her own organic farm in Orange. We'd love to go!

I'd be interested in the gardening side of things!

This is the first I'd heard of this expo. Sounds interesting.

Yum Yum Yum! I would love to go and learn about Organic food - you hear that term used so much but I'm not sure if EVERYONE using it knows exactly what it means (myself included) - would be a great day out in Sydney-town too!

Ooh this looks like fun :) I actually haven't heard about it before reading your post!

I guess I'm 'green' to this event as I have not heard of it before. It sounds like something I would enjoy, combining my love of food and wine. And I am in Sydney :)

To learn more of sustainability practices for continuing the preservation of our wonderful planet. A few tastings here & there from some astounding chefs won't go astray & a little 'drop' to top it off.
